Kate's probably the best partner in the cabal for someone that wants to learn to tank the raid, if you wanted to give that another shot. And if there are any wipe issues (Clare usually gave 3 wipes in the past), you can always swap to DPS and BP can take over tanking. Doing it that way a few times is generally enough to learn how to tank NYR successfully.

Kate is (Or at least was), more flexible gear wise than most of the tanks we use in the NA raid, so you shouldn't encounter aggro issues like on your first attempt. And she explains the fight better than almost anyone else.

I mean, that's assuming you're still interested in tanking.
