Welcome to Nine Swords

We want each and every new member in our cabal to have a postive start. Here are a few things you can do to make sure you can settle in quickly:

What happens after I apply to join Nine Swords?

Once your application has been received, our application process kicks off.

If your application is denied, you will be informed by one of the Hook Swords leaders or the cabal leader. If you have questions regarding the denial of your application, you may PM the leader directly.

If your application is accepted, one of our recruitment team will have a chat with you. Keep an eye on the Enlistment Threads topic in the forums to see which recruiters are actively looking for you.  You can feel free to friend them in game and send them a PM if you see them before they see you. Assuming that the chat has a positive outcome, we will recruit you to the cabal. As soon as we have done this, we will also ensure to set up your website access too. 

After joining the cabal, depending on how comfortable you feel with the cabal and where you think your skill base fits, you are welcome to apply to join one of our divisions. It is not mandatory to join one of our divisions, but the cabal certainly benefits when our members take on responsibilities to ensure that our community stays active and fun. Keep in mind that joining a division is an indicator of personal taste and competence, not a corner you've painted yourself in: a PvE member can RP and a RP member can PvP. New members in 9S

Upon recruitment to Nine Swords, it is hoped that all new cabal members will seek out ways to ensure they feel integrated within the cabal.  All members of Nine Swords are expected to take time to learn about our divisions and structure and to do all they can to involve themselves in the ongoing processes in building the framework of our cabal and helping to maintain it. This will ensure that the cabal continues to be successful in to the future.

Set up your chat in game 

We love chatting when we are in game, please make sure you have your chat set up so you can actively use our cabal channel. 

Voice Chat

Lots of the active SWL community use Discord - and we do too. Mainly for raids, but also to forward our news announcements. You can request an invite to our channel from any of our active cabal members. The SWL Official channel is also rather chatty, so this is also a great channel to add to make sure you are kept up to date on all goings on within our community. 

Divisions

All members of Nine Swords are encouraged to take time to learn about our divisions and structure and to do all they can to involve themselves in our cabal. We want to continue to be successful in to the future. As a new member, you may also be wondering where your skills could be best used within the cabal. Adding alts to Nine Swords

As a member of Nine Swords, you are welcome to also request for your alts to be added.  If you have an alt you would like recruited into Nine Swords in Secret World Legends, you need to make a new thread for yourself in the Enlistment forum area

Thread title: NAME: Requesting Alt-Recruitment

Post body: Nickname of character in SW:L requesting alt-recruitment: NAME

When your alt has been recruited, the recruiter will post in your request thread that they have recruited you. Our administrators will then merge your alt recruitment to your main character recruitment thread.
