OK, Vike will be learning to tank. We will be using the Provoke method, so make sure to have Provoke and Mass Provoke Vike.

Aberlour (Tank)
Vikestart (Tank)
Shock G (Leech)
Dreadzilla (Buff DPS)
Pizzaparty (Pod person, Doctor man)

Fig (DPS)
Diani (Buff DPS)
Regretted (DPS)
Samcon (Adds DPS)
Endoscopy (DPS)

Aww, does that mean I won't get to see Vike being tossed around by the Lurker? :( Oh well, in all seriousness, best of luck to you :) I'll aim to be able to see it next time, though :P

Here are the stats I'll be running tonight Aberlour, just for reference, if you want to balance things out for aggro purposes:

3025 Attack Rating
7249 Health
607 Hit Rating
855 / 1057 Penetration
376 / 138 Crit Power

I realise that's a bit much penetration. I'm going to get a second Chaos Focus with Crit Rating and another minor talisman with Crit Power, seeing as one of my major glyphs is still 10.0, so there's more penetration to go on as well, but the current setup should be more than good enough to pull through tonight :)

Some suggestions:
You don't need 12 Gouge. Consider taking Twist the Knife instead. It will help w/ DPS and therefore aggro.
You're going to have a single target for most of the fight, so I'd do Seal the Deal instead of Gross Anatomy. (Generally, percent passives > procs in the raid because of the P3 buff circles.)

Yeah, definitely drop 12 gouge and Gross Anatomy. While Gross is good, it doesn't actually get buffed by the circles in Phase 3, so Seal the Deal is the way to go.

I also suggest eventually getting a first for tanking NYR, since you don't need impairs, you basically just use a Blade/Fist DPS setup and Tear Em Up is great for that.

Since we're using provoke aggro matching is not as much of an issue as when using Confuse, which is why we tend to have new NYR tanks running Provoke.

But yeah, you are good to go with that setup. Should be a pretty smooth run too, we have good DPS signed up tonight.

Uh yes, of course, that makes sense :P Updated the build link the previous post :)

Also swapping Bloodsport for Perfect Storm then to ensure the afflict stacks stay on the target.

I think I'll swap my Chaos Focus for my Fists then :) I've got critical rating on that one + signet of aggression. Tear 'Em Up will increase damage. There's nothing I need the Chaos Focus for.

Do I even need Art of War for anything related to aggro? If not, I could just swap it for Master's House.

Art of war + mass provoke is just enough forced aggro to let stacks fall off the other tank if you time it right. If that's not necessary, definitely go with Master's House. It's great for DPS.

Well, success!! :D

I'll work on increasing crit power and getting my purple signet of laceration (almost there), then I can attempt the confuse method instead :)
