Finally made it!

Post by Naite »

Not been on TSW as much recently as I am normally and here's the reason. Finally made it to the centre of the Milky Way after flying 26 000 light years on Elite Dangerous.

Grats!

I had never heard of the game and although I don't think it's my kind of game, it looks cool.

First version was released in 1984, though I didn't play it till '88. Then the second version (called Frontier) was the one I played most on the Amiga 500, then on the Amiga 1200. This latest version was released last Christmas, it's basically a Space-Flight sim with trading, combat and exploration, set in an "accurate" representation of our galaxy. The stars and nebulae are accurate, but the systems attached to them are mostly made up.

As someone who also has it, but hasn't played much since beta - that's a LOT of travel time and a LOT of fuel scooping. Grats Naite!

No spaghetti monster?
