Below are nine hints to specific locations in the game.

Once you have your answers please DM them to me via the forum. You can either take a screen pic for each answer, or just give a clear description.

Here's a clue. There is one hint for each of the nine playfields, Kingsmouth, Savage Coast etc.

The competition runs from now and ends 27 June at 23:59 UTC. Winners announced on or after 28 June.

One point for each correct answer. The top three winners will get their pick of one talisman from the prize pot below. The remaining talismans will be included in the raffle prize pot for particiating in the anniversery event.

Bumping this as I have received no answers yet - lots of lovely talismans await the winning entries. Some of the clues should be fairly easy!

No, they are all mixed up (but one for each playfield).

I am finding this hard! :D But I am giving it a go.
If you find yourself forced to mercilessly slaughter your teammates because they become infected with some rare mutation, keep in mind that you are only doing your job -
They would do the same for you.

Hi all

Thanks to Katelin, Cassar and Xaoti for entering the Treasure Hunt. I was glad to hear it was fun as that was the primary objective.

I enjoyed reading the entries as there were several imaginative and logical alternative answers to the clues. However, I had to score acording to my answers.

A highly commendable third place goes to Cassar and kudos for sending me pictures of the locations!

Second was Katelin with some great alternative answers, but in first place, by a considerable margin was Xaoti who scored 8/9. Our brains must work along the same lines Xaoti. She received a 1/2 point was for identifying the Ankh in answer to question 4, but not the precise location, and a 1/2 point for correctly identyifing the Jigoku bathouse for the final clue, but not the exact rationale.

Congratulations all!

So here are the answers:

1. The brightest little bear points the way

Answer: Polaris, Kingsmouth

2. Where both Charlene and a wise monarch met their demise

Answer:Solomon’s End, Savage Coast

3. Ahab stands and observes his prey,

Answer:Whale Watching, Blue Mountain

4. A place of death points the way to life,

Answer:Crashed plane, Scorched Desert (if you look at the map, the plane points the way to the entrance to the Ankh)

5. A fallen star rests here.

Answer:Meteor site, City of the Sun God

6. She stands watch over the dead that walk.

Answer:Zaha, Besieged Farmlands

7. Sailors, cover your ears!

Answer:Siren’s Lake, Shadowy Forest

8. A poet sits and water drips.

Answer:Callisto, Carpathian Fangs

9. Cherry blossom falls, and a young woman lies.

Answer:Jigoku bathouse, Kaidan (the painting in the front room shows a young woman lying on a bench whilst cherry blossoms fall around her).

Well done Xaoti!

Thanks again Carb for putting this together, some very different answers to what I had come up with, I had that meteor site in CotSG originally for hint 5 but changed it to suit my other answers. Was a good time.
