When I first hear of the name Nine Swords, I immediately thought of the tarot as well. Simplified the nine of swords is about nightmares. I like to think we are the enemies nightmares, or that we will be fighting the nightmares of this world.

hello! my name is seryn. i was introduced to the cabal by Ravynswind, and if you all are of the same caliber as her, then this is the place that i would like to be.

i regret that i cannot give you much information about myself, as i do not know it. my name is seryn. at least, that is what they call me. my life as a templar began not that long ago, when i awoke in an alley in the darkness of london, with no memory of who i was or how i came to be there. next to me was the corpse of some horrible creature, some lifeless demonic mutation. i do not know how it came to be there or what happened to it. all i know is that i woke and found myself next to this .. this thing. on its chest was a note that simply said: 'With Compliments, B' written next to an ornate white cross on a red background. the note also had instructions for me to go to an address in West End. after presenting myself, i was put into a training program, for new Templar initiates.

so now here i stand before you, a recruit with no past. who i was before .. that does not matter. for i have been touched by the darkness but given a second chance. and i am ready to make the most of that chance.
